AgentLocator vs Ylopo vs Northspire: an honest comparison for Canadian agents
A prospect asked us which of the three to pick. We wrote the answer down, including the parts where the other two are the better fit.
Side by side
| AgentLocator | Ylopo | Northspire | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Based, since | Mississauga, Ontario. Founded 2011. | Santa Monica, California. Serves Canada (Google Local Services Ads not available in Canada). | Founded July 2025. Run from the UK by a remote team; every client is in Canada. |
| What you get | Website with IDX search, CRM (built-in dialer, texting, email automation, drip campaigns, AI chatbot, mobile apps), Google and Facebook ads run by their marketing team. | Dynamic listing ads and Facebook/Instagram remarketing, IDX website, rAIya AI text and AI voice assistant, listing alerts. | Ads in your name, landing page on your domain, human calling and qualification, booking into your calendar, human confirmation, no-show recovery, dashboard with every recording and transcript. |
| Who contacts the lead | You, using their dialer and automations. No human calling service is published. | rAIya, an AI assistant, by text and voice, with warm transfers to you. | A dedicated setter employed by Northspire Agency, by phone and text: 12 call attempts across 30 days, then three months of personalised texts and emails. |
| Who books the appointment | You. | The AI books or transfers; you take it from there. | Northspire, straight into your calendar. |
| Human confirmation before the day | Not offered as a published service. | Not stated. | Every appointment, by phone, after booking and at least two hours before. |
| CRM | Built in. | Bring your own (third-party reviews note AI Voice requires Follow Up Boss). | Not required. Your dashboard holds the appointments and outcomes. |
| Published pricing | From $249 CAD per user per month on Capterra; third-party listings show $249, $349 and $1,000 per month tiers. | Not published. Quoted after a call and scaled to market and database size; ad budget is separate. | Pricing is bespoke. Our service is white-glove and built around each agent, so there is no one-size-fits-all package. The honest way to understand what it would cost for your market is a short call. Book a call. |
| Best for | Agents, small teams and brokerages who want a complete website and CRM and will work the leads themselves. | Tech-comfortable agents and teams with a large database who want AI working it around the clock. | Individual agents and small teams who want appointments, not leads or logins. |
| Where it is weaker | You still do the calling, qualifying and confirming. | No built-in CRM; the conversations are AI, not human; costs grow with database size. | Newer and smaller than the other two, no website or CRM product, no third-party review profile yet, and a six-month minimum term. |

When each one is the right choice
Choose AgentLocator if you want the whole toolkit and you will work the leads
It is Canadian-built, it has been around since 2011, and the review record is strong (4.8 out of 5 from 60 Capterra reviews). If you or an assistant will be on the phone every day and you want one login for the website, the CRM and the ads, it is the obvious pick. What it does not do, as far as anything published shows, is make the calls for you.
Choose Ylopo if you have a big database and you are comfortable letting AI work it
Ylopo’s strength is scale: dynamic ads that keep re-engaging a large pool of leads, and an AI assistant that texts and calls without a lunch break. It suits teams that already run a CRM like Follow Up Boss and want automation on top. The lead’s first real conversation is with software, and you will want to be honest with yourself about whether your market responds to that.
Choose Northspire if you want the appointment to arrive, not the lead
We are the smallest of the three and the newest, and we say so. What we do differently is people: our setters call, qualify, book and confirm, and we publish the attendance rate that results, with its denominator (70 to 80% of the people we book actually show up, and 75% to 89% on our strongest accounts). If you do not want a dialer, a CRM or an AI to manage, and you want to know exactly who is on your calendar tomorrow and why, that is the job we do. Read how the system works.

Six questions to ask all three
- Who makes the first call, and how fast? A person, an AI, or you? Within minutes, hours, or days?
- What does “appointment” mean in the contract? A booked time on your calendar, or a warm transfer, or a lead who said “maybe”?
- What is the show rate, and how is it measured? If they cannot tell you, they are not measuring it.
- Are the leads exclusive, and whose ad account do they come from?
- What happens when the lead does not turn up? Is there a rebooking process, and is the no-show recorded?
- What do you send back to the ad platform? A campaign that only learns from form fills optimises for form fills. One that learns from attended appointments optimises for attendance.
Frequently asked questions
Is Northspire cheaper than AgentLocator or Ylopo?
Our pricing is bespoke to each agent (white-glove, no one-size-fits-all package), so there is no list price to put beside theirs, and the monthly fee would be the wrong comparison anyway. A platform fee is lower because you supply the labour: somebody on your side has to call, qualify, book and confirm. Compare the cost per appointment that actually takes place, including the hours you or an assistant spend on the phone.
Can I use AgentLocator or Ylopo alongside Northspire?
Yes. Northspire writes bookings into the calendar you already use and sends you the outcome of every appointment, so it sits alongside any website, CRM or AI tool you keep.
Which of the three has the most reviews?
AgentLocator, by a distance: 4.8 out of 5 from 60 reviews on Capterra Canada as of September 2026. Ylopo has many third-party reviews across US directories. Northspire has no third-party review profile yet; we publish our own attendance and booking figures instead.
